I launched GeoTranslations back in 2009 in response to the recurring document translation needs that I had witnessed in companies from the sectors in which I had been developing my professional career since the mid-90s. I thought at that time that, by combining industry experience and other attributes, I could launch a "boutique" service for technical and generic translations to support clients and bridge the linguistic gap they often faced, in addition to saving them time and money by outsourcing this service to a reliable and quality service provider.

The journey began with a single initial industrial client, who after a cold call email took a leap of faith just 24 hours later requesting a test translation of a technical documentation package in the field of energy. Since then, the list of satisfied clients has not stopped growing, slowly but steadily, largely thanks to referrals within each of the sectors.
